Betty Jean Demshar (nee Albenberger), age 81, lost her battle with cancer June 18, 2018.
Betty, a 2nd generation from Germany, was born in 1937, and grew up in Milwaukee, with her parents Betty and Lawrence, and brother Larry (all deceased). She graduated Messmer Highschool in 1956, and lived her entire adult life in New Berlin raising her children.
Betty lived life to the fullest, and spent most of her later years traveling and exploring the world. Asia, Europe, and the Carribean were highlights of her travels. She also enjoyed hunting treasures, dancing, boat rides, festivals, playing bingo, eating chocolate, her 3 cats and her dog Bowser. She danced to the beat of her own drum, and made an impression on all who met her.
She will be greatly missed by her 6 children, Robert, James (Tonya), Susan Zenda, Karen Taylor, Tamara (Derron) Bohne, and Michael (Angel). She had 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren in her life which brought her much joy. Also survived by nieces, a nephew, and other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 27, at Yonke and Sons in Pewaukee, with visitation from 3-5:00pm, and burial following the service at Municipal Cemetery.
