The Lord called Bryan R Kurek home to heaven on September 13, 2024 at the age of 85 years. Bryan was born November 20, 1938 in Milwaukee WI. Attended Wisconsin Lutheran High School and served 4 years in the military with the United States Marine Corp where he was based in Okinawa Japan. 

  Bryan was the devoted and loving husband of the late Janice Ann Kurek (nee Fahey). The Lord blessed them with three children: Maureen (Duane) Deisinger, Amy (Shawn) Selode, and the late Sheryl (Michael) Phillipson. He was the loving Grandfather of Andrea (Casey), Alex, Jordan (Ryan), Ben (Alisha), Taylor (Darien), Zach and Jake. He was also a proud Great-Grandfather of Atticus, Cole, Caine, Odin and Scout. Preceded in death by parents, John and Elizabeth Kurek (nee Lifke) and sister Beverly. Also was survived by other family and friends.

  In 2001 Bryan retired as a claims manager from Bituminous Casualty Corp. after 28 years of service. Bryan loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing with family and friends. If Bryan wasn’t enjoying the outdoors, he loved watching and talking sports with people. 

 Interment will be at Forest Home Cemetery in Pewaukee immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Angels Grace Hospice, W359 N74430 Brown St. Oconomowoc, WI. 53066 are appreciated.
