Carla M Pivotto Gaschke, beloved wife of John, devoted mother of Josh, Kyle and Hailee Seppala. Carla also loved her grandchildren Brooklyn, Cole and recently born, Carley Seppala. Loving stepmother of Nathan and Megan. Carla was born to Richard and Carol Pivotto on January 12, 1965, the 4th child, her sibling's being Mark, Cindy and Rick. Carla went home to our Lord on April 7, 2022, in the comfort of her home in Pewaukee, WI.
She graduated from Wauwatosa East High School with her many friends in 1983. Carla had two main passions in her life; First one being a mother and homemaker, and second being a love for interior decor. She was loved by many because of her love for children, warm personality, protective nature to those she worked with and her contagious laugh. She worked at Cousins Subs part-time over a 20-year period and most recently at Hobby Lobby where her home decor passion flourished. She loved her grandchildren dearly, enjoyed shows at the Fireside Theater, valued time with family or friends, and those of us that knew her well, Dr. Pepper was her top choice of beverage until her last days with us.
Carla was introduced to the Lord at a later time in her life through her beloved sister, Cindy, who also is in the presence of our Lord. As a new born-again Christian, she had found a new love in Jesus Christ. Through times of trials, Carla realized she could call upon the Lord in prayer to seek His counsel or for rest during the times of difficulty. She attended her sisters church, First Assembly of God, presently known as Bridge Church in Waukesha WI.
The Celebration of Life for Carla will be at the church she attended and details can be found on this website.
