Mr. Casimir (Casey) S. Bemelburg, of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, born on February 19, 1926 in Elblag, Poland, to the late Rozalia and Fryderyk Bemelburg, passed away at age 92 on October 16, 2018. Casimir served in World War II as a Paratrooper in the Polish Army as a member of the Allied Forces under the US. His service was recogonized by the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight (SE WI); the first Polish native to be so honored. Casimir was married to the late Dorothy Bemelburg; meeting in Heidelberg Germany where both were stationed while serving in the Armed Forces. He was preceded in death by his grandchild, Rachel Lancour. Casimir is survived by his daughters, Dolores (Dave) Lancour and Marie Davis; grandchildren, Michelle (Bradley) Sickinger, David (Ashlee) Lancour, Casey (Ashley) Davis, Sarah (Jeff Huisheere) Lancour, Corey Davis, and Daniel Lancour; great-grandchildren, Austin Weber, Chloe and Chase Davis and Theo Lancour; friends, Bill Haines, Lepkowski Family, and Jim Hoskins & Family. Casey was a dedicated and Hard-Working Machinist of Cutler Hammer/Eaton for over 30 years until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, masonry, woodworking, auto restoration, motorcycling, boating but most of all loved people. He put a smile on the face of everyone including strangers. The family invites donations in Casimir's name to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight. Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Monday, October 22 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Yonke & Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Avenue, Pewaukee, (262) 691-1900. Following that, there will be a memorial service, officiated by Reverend John Marshall, at 6:30 p.m. at Yonke & Son Funeral Home. Committal Prayers will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Please meet at the cemetery as services will begin at 2:00 P.M. sharp, in true military fashion.
