Christie Lynn Engel

A beloved daughter, sister, cousin and friend, Christie Lynn Engel left this world unexpectedly, at the young age of 59, on June 19, 2020. Born in Joliet, Il. on Nov.16th, 1960 to William and Catherine Spreitzer, Christie grew up in Joliet Illinois, where she attended St Mary's Nativity School, St Francis Academy High School and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a nursing degree.

Christie was a lover of all things fashion, enjoyed golfing and spending time with her family, friends and beloved dog Regis. She was loving, caring, outgoing, extremely generous and she was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. We will always remember her infectious smile, kind soul and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.

When you think of Christie, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.

She is now an angel holding hands with her mother Catherine and other family and friends that have past.

Christie leaves behind her father William A. Spreitzer; her sister Susan (David) Hinze; as well as many cousins and dear friends.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, July 11th between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. with a memorial service following at Yonke & Sons Funeral Home, located at 205 Prospect Ave, Pewaukee WI.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Christie's name to the Susan G Komen Foundation.
