Christopher John Millard

Christopher John Millard, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 2^nd, 2023.

The former Christopher John Novak was born on December 4^th, 1974, in West Allis, WI, the son of Dennis Novak and Nancy Adamczyk. Chris lived in the Oconomowoc area most of his life until recently settling in the Beloit area.

Chris graduated from Kettle Moraine High School in 1993. After high school, Chris worked as an Architectural Sheet Metal Roofer for much of his life, until recently when he started to work landscaping and general construction with his lifelong best friend, Dave Medina.

A father of 3, Chris loved his children immensely. In their early years, Chris spent his time teaching them to fish and how to respect and love the great outdoors. Chris passed down his love of horror movies, music, and animals to all three of his children.

Chris spent his free time outdoors. With his best dog Gauge at his side, duck and pheasant hunting were two of his favorite hobbies. Chris was an avid ice fisherman and loved spending all day out on the ice with his children, family, and friends.

Chris is survived by: His children, Christopher Millard, Blake Millard, and Eden Millard; former wife Jessica (Steve) Reek of Lannon, WI; mother Nancy Millard of Okauchee, WI; stepfather and stepmother Kenneth and Barbara Millard of Oconomowoc, WI; father and stepmother Dennis and Beth Novak of Spooner, WI; Siblings: Dennis Millard of Lake Mills, WI; Rebecca (James Carney) of Watertown, WI; Kenneth (Ku’ulei) Millard III of Nashotah, WI; Jennifer (Adam) Dunlap of Lake Forest, IL; Jessica (Troy) Altreuther of Oconomowoc, WI; and Jena (Wayne) Sleeter of Turtle Lake, WI. Also, survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Chris is preceded in death by his sister Michele Millard

Private services will be held at Yonke and Son Funeral Home in Pewaukee, WI. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests tributes be directed to Chris’s memorial fund to help his children in covering the expenses. If you would like to contribute to the memorial fund, donations can be made to Blake Millard.
