DONALD D TROUDT “DON” VISITATION

Wednesday August 19 2026 5-7 pm

Yonke Funeral Home

205 Prospect Ave Pewaukee WI

Don, age 94yrs from the Town of Sun Prairie drifted into eternal sleep at home with his wife, Mary Frances and Brenda of Agrace Hospice at his side. Don leaves behind a large blended family.

Don was born to John & Anna (Ruhl) Troudt. His Milwaukee childhood was influenced by The Depression Era, Polio epidemic, WWII, his parents, older siblings and lifelong friends. Don experienced the sudden, painful loss of his dad, at 12 yrs old.

After high school Don started his career with Burroughs/Unisys until 1990 with a pause to proudly serve in the US Army Korean conflict. He witnessed his mother become a USA citizen. Don and his bride Mary Jane Easton ventured to Fort Campbell, Ky. & eventually moved back to Wisconsin, where they raised five wonderful children. Sadly in 1995, his mother Anna died at age 93 and months later his wife of 43 years, Mary Jane unexpectedly passed away

As the sun rises and sets, life goes on. In his early sixties Don enjoyed long distance running, biking and camping, a position at Surf Prep Pewaukee with son John yet he longed for married life again.

In his neighborhood, he met his future wife with two young children. Don was very happy raising them as his own and send them off as thriving young adults. Another heart-breaking loss was 26-yr old daughter Ailish Barcelo. As the sun rises and sets, life goes on.

Don welcomed a young daughter-in law, additional grandchildren and great grandchildren into the Don Troudt family. The last 3 decades went by quickly with many happy and sad moments woven into Don’s life.

Don is further predeceased by his parents-in-law James (Berdella) Easton & James J (Carol) Fay, brother Herb (Shirley)Troudt, sister Mary Jane (Bob) Ryerson, brothers in law Dan Fay JD & Jim Fay, niece Colleen Fay

Don is survived by his wife of 29 years Mary Frances Fay Barcelo Troudt. He is also survived by his daughters Terri (John) Devine, Jill (Bob) Sotirin, Cindy (Kim) Kriewaldt, Kay (Forbes) Guthrie, sons John (Susan) Troudt, Brendan (Janna) Barcelo, grandkids Kaitlan (Dan) Nash, Andrea Sotirin, Brynn (John) Heflin, Paige (Nick) Sotirin, John (Rose) Sotirin, Brock Kriewaldt, Nathan Troudt, Lauren Kriewaldt RN, Bryce Guthrie, Sophia Barcelo, Lydia Barcelo, great grandkids Leo Nash & Tripp Heflin, sisters-in-law Ellen Fadel, Margaret Fay, Katy Fay, Joanne (Dick Albert) Fay, Julie Fay-Krivitz, brother-in-law John (Gayle) Fay, 28 nieces & nephews, and many longtime friends.

The family is truly thankful for all who helped enhance the quality of Don’s life with a shout out to the Colonial Club Adult Day Center, Agrace Hospice Team, UW Health Geriatrics & Neurology. Thank you to cousins Tom Russell MD and Mary Russell MD for their guidance.
