Duane Walter Liazuk was born October 10, 1945 in Thorp, WI. He proudly served in the United States Army. He was married to his bride, Barbara (Flynt) for 53 years. They were married on October 21st, 1967 and resided in Waukesha County, WI. Together they had a daughter, Susan and a son, Darren. Duane worked at and retired from Metal Tek (formerly Wisconsin Centrifugal) after 42 years. Duane loved his country and loved to share his knowledge and love for US history with family and friends. His biggest pleasure in life was his family. Watching his grandson (whom he loved to call wild weasel) grow was the best one of all. He was a kind, loving and generous man with a smile that would light up a room. He loved hunting, bowling, wildlife (especially wolves) and trains. He had a unique sense of humor which always made people laugh.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Liazuk, Brothers Dean Liazuk of Eau Claire and Dale (Sue) Liazuk of Oconomowoc, Sisters Darlene (Dale) Tieman of Dousman and Dae (Dick) Richardson of Stanley. His daughter Susan (Nelson) Dos Reis of Oconomowoc and son Darren Liazuk of Fond du Lac and grandson Jack Dos Reis along with his many nieces and nephews.
Duane is reunited in heaven with his parents Pearl and Walter Liazuk and his sisters Marilyn Olichier and Wanda Tramm as well as his beloved dog Rebel.
