FRANCES MARY (GAGLIANO) BROWN

Frances Brown, age 98, died peacefully with her children by her side on November 12, 2022.

Frances was born to Ignatius and Angelina Gagliano (Maglio) on May 19, 1924.
She attended Holy Angles High School and Mount Mary College. Frances met her husband, Clarence Brown when they were both working at Allis-Chalmers. They married on November 18, 1946 and were married for 52 years. Together they raised six children.

Frances loved spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling, cooking, and gardening. In her youth she was an avid swimmer and throughout her life she enjoyed spending summer days at area lakes.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence, and daughter Christine Knorst. She is survived by her children, Bud Brown (Monica St. Germain) Angelynn Brown (Eric Paulson) Debbie (Steve) Meyer, Mike (Nancy) Brown and Robert Brown. Grandchildren: Brian (Liz) Brown, Bob (Vickie) Brown, Adam Knorst, Angie (Michael) Chiechi, Jeremy (Laura) Meyer, Stephanie (Bernie) Schultz, Lark (Justin) Gibson, Niko (Brianne) Paulson, Sarah (Tony) Cahill, Robin Brown and eight great-great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held at Yonke and Sons Funeral Home 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee on Monday, November 21, at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:00 am until time of services. Masses in celebration of Frances' life will be held at St. Jerome's Parish in Columbus, and at St. Anthony's on the Lake in Pewaukee. The family will be having a private celebration of life gathering next spring.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the caring staff at the Columbus Health and Rehab facility, where Frances lived out her final years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' memory to Saint Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus, WI or Saint Anthony's on the Lake Catholic Church, Pewaukee.
