Frank “Kelly” Kehlnhofer, born September26th, 1944 in Milwaukee, was born into eternal life Saturday September 27th, 2025, in Eagle River, Wisconsin.

He married his high school sweetheart Kathleen Youngbeck in 1966. He knew from the moment he met her that “She was the one”. They spent 66 years together.

Survived by his beloved wife Kathy, sons Frank (Jocelynn), David (Jennifer), and Brian (Veronica). Preceded in death by daughter Kristy.

Also survived by sisters Kathleen Hackett and Gayle (Ken) Kolp.

Grandfather to Frank’s children Cody, Alexandra, Daniel, and Brian’s children Dyllon, Holly, Jaden and Toni.

Great grandfather to Colton.

Also survived by other dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Kelly’s love and loyalty for family and friends was unlimited. Despite his tough exterior, he had a heart of gold.

Kelly was a professional firefighter for Wauwatosa but was a “Jack of all trades”. His true passion, however, was being at the top of a tree with a saddle, spurs, rope and a chainsaw.

There was little he couldn’t fix.

8th Grade Prophecy

“Broken Chair,

Beat up fan,

He will be a

Fix-it man”

There was no call for help that Kelly wouldn’t answer.

Kelly loved everything with the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping…you name it, he’d try it!

He always said he felt closer to God sitting on a tree stump in the woods, than in a church pew.

Kelly’s love for the LORD and His creation was unquestionable.

“Big Bang Theory…My ass!”
