Of Merton. Born to Eternal Life Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the age of 72 years. Greendale highscool graduate of 1964. US Air Force 1964-1968. Retiree of AT&T in 2000. Proud father of Travis Manard, Long time love of Lore Stein. Former husband of Robyn Manard-Behmke and Barbara Radtke. Cousin of Phylis and John Pollack of Eden Prairie, MN. Fond friend of Steve Gaulke and Scott Berner. Unofficial grandfather of many children he loved so much and held highly. Howard had a strong passion of fishing the gulf with his son and close friends Thomas Pietla and Bernie Freugh. Long time sailor on Lake Michigan. Howard and his son became best of friends and spent much time possible together. He was a rock in his sons life. Howard would go out of his way to help anyone out in need. Howard has joined his Mother, Mavis Mayer, father Leo Manard, and best friend Tom Berner in eternal life. Howard will be watching out over all those close to him. He will deeply be missed by all who he graced in his lifetime. Rest In Peace father. May you be causing trouble and hopefully not be grumbling too much about something beyond your control. May the Fishing seas be calm, and the sailing beeeze be warming. You are home Dad.
