Jeri Lee (Weyer) Koeppen
June 6, 1951 — November 28, 2022
Jeri Koeppen, age 71, passed away on November 28, 2022 at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc, where she was surrounded by family and loved ones.
She was a very very talented seamstress and loved arts and crafts. She graduated from Hamilton High School in Sussex, WI and had a bachelor's degree from Mount Mary College.
Jeri enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking, crafting, sewing and she loved all the family pets. She loved spending time with her family, making many memorable memories. She was very involved in her grandchildren's lives and enjoyed attending school events, sporting events and caring for them. Her grandchildren made her happy and provided so many laughs. Helping others and being a part of others' lives made Jeri happy! She always had a very special place in her heart and house for many pets. She truly loved fires and playing crazy games such as Pig Mania, Yahtzee, Family Feud, and Scrabble.
Jeri is survived by her son, Tom Koeppen Jr (Burlington, WI); daughters, Anastasia Koeppen (aka Stayce) (Waukesha, WI) and Jackie Chivas (Koeppen, Stock Bridge, WI); brothers, Jeff Weyer and Kent (Jackie) Weyer; Grandchildren, Ryan and Joey Koeppen, and Zach Walensa; many Nieces, Nephews in Wisconsin and South Carolina. She had many "adoptive" children and was always willing to help out others.
She is preceded by her parents Arthur & Norlene (Sis) Weyer (Lannon, WI).
A very special thank you goes out to the Doctors, Nurses and team members at Waukesha Memorial Hospital Oncology Department for her care. Another HUGE thank you to the Volunteers, Nurses and Doctors at Angels Grace for the compassion and care provided to Jeri and her family.
A "Celebration of Life" to honor Jeri will be done in the Summer of 2023 where she would rather enjoy the warm weather.
All gifts will go for Jeri's final arrangements.
