Larry Robert Henrichsen, 75, of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away on April 3, 2026.
Larry was born on October 3, 1950, to Robert Henrichsen and Lorna Grove, who preceded him in death, along with his sister, Sue Burgess. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; his sons, Bryan Henrichsen (Lisa), and Jonathan Henrichsen (Katie); and his cherished granddaughters, Kaylee and Kaiya Henrichsen. He is also survived by his sisters, Karla Astolfi and Joan Groenhagen (Gary); his nephew Kyle Groenhagen (Faith); and his niece Kate Mills (Ryan).
Larry built a successful career in information technology, where he was known for his ability navigate the ever-changing world of technology. He had a natural gift for problem-solving and took pride in being the person others could rely on when they needed help.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped his character and remained a source of pride throughout his life. Larry carried that sense of service, discipline, and commitment with him long after his time in uniform.
Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Larry was always ready with a joke or a lighthearted comment that could brighten any room. He had a passion for classic cars and loved spending time at car shows, appreciating the craftsmanship and nostalgia they represented.
Above all, Larry’s greatest joy was his family. He was deeply proud of his sons and found immense happiness in watching his granddaughters grow. His love for his family was steady, strong, and unwavering.
In lieu of flowers memorial's in Larry's name to Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) Military Fund, N16 W23377 Stone Ridge Dr., Waukesha, WI, 53188 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Larry was also a man of deep faith, grounded in his relationship with the Lord, which guided him throughout his life. A service honoring Larry’s life will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 21731 Spring St., Union Grove, WI 53182.
