Leo was born and raised in Waukesha and had the ability to captivate people with his bright smile and draw them in with his warm sparkling brown eyes. He was a former student of Summit View Elementary, Butler Middle School and currently was a home bound student of Waukesha West High School. Leo had a pure love for life and despite his ever failing body, his mind was filled with the love of God. Leo embraced all the joys of life and loved trains, fire trucks, school buses, nature, listening to stories, collecting watches, and dollar bills. He taught other's how to love and on a daily basis fought through pain and did it without complaining. Leo was truly a gift of God and would tell us of his communication with Jesus when family members needed that guidance and faith. With the passing of family members, Leo would tell us the color of their Angel wings. During some of his own struggles, he tried to assure us that Jesus would welcome him and that the color of his Angel wings would be red, his favorite color.
