In Loving Memory of Margaret “Peggy” Vircks
With deep love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Margaret “Peggy” Vircks, who passed peacefully on April 2, 2025, into the arms of her Savior, surrounded by the love of her family.
Peggy was a loving wife to Daniel Vircks, a devoted mother to Gale Olsen, Lisa Rolbiecki (Garth), and Lynn Hergert (Troy), and a loving grandmother to Kira Rolbiecki (Stu), Dani Hellenbrand (Nick), Hailey Booth (Mac), Keely Vought (Andrew), and Cory Henck (Krystal). She was affectionately known as “GG” to her cherished great-grandchildren: Naomi, Josephina, and Adelaide Vought, and Levi Henck.
Family was the heart of Peggy’s world—her greatest joy and proudest blessing. She found true happiness in the company of those she loved, whether it was sharing a meal, celebrating a milestone, or simply being together. Her joyful spirit touched every generation of her family and created a legacy of love that will continue for years to come.
Peggy was also a gifted seamstress who poured care into every stitch, especially when sewing bridal gowns that helped make wedding days extra special. She held a deep and joyful affection for all things Irish and proudly volunteered for many years at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest, sharing her enthusiasm and heritage with the community.
Peggy’s strong faith was the foundation of her life. She trusted in the Lord and lived each day with love and purpose. We give glory to God and our Lord Jesus Christ for the precious gift of Peggy’s life and rejoice in her homecoming to eternal peace.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel; her parents; her sisters, Janet and Kathie; her brother Fred (“Bub”); and many dear family members and friends who surely welcomed her with open arms.
Peggy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her—in every story shared, every gathering of family, and in the tender comfort of something made by her hands.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate caregivers at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and AngelsGrace Hospice for their wonderful care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Peggy’s honor may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wales, Wisconsin, or AngelsGrace Hospice Foundation in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 470 N. Oak Crest Dr., Wales, WI on Saturday, April 5 from 1pm-2:45pm with a service at 3pm and a light meal to follow.
