Marshall Todd Maynard

June 29, 1992 — February 16, 2021

Marshall Todd Maynard, 28, left us on February 16th, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Just like Marshall's strength and stubbornness in life, he fought incredibly hard to live but ultimately lost his battle.
Marshall was born on June 29th, 1992 in Oconomowoc, WI to Thomas and Kay (Thurnbauer) Maynard. This year would have been his golden birthday. He had many nicknames including Pusshead (Grandpa Clare), Brick, Marsh Nuggies, MarshMan, MarshWad, Toddely Dootz, and Marshmallow.
Marshall's personality was just as infectious as his laugh, both loud and lovable. The impact he had on countless people, even if only a moment, made him unforgettable. His wild, spontaneous, and unpredictable behavior made him the life of the party, doing whatever he could to make people laugh with his unique and twisted sense of humor.
We will never forget the screams at the TV when watching the Packers, videos of him doing something reckless like jumping off a rooftop to break things with his body, giving everyone nicknames they did not ask for, PBR cans that served as home décor, snapshots of him and his witty sayings while in the port a potty at his job sites, his tattoos that ranged from stick and poke styles to portraits of Rob Zombie characters, his confidence in front of a crowd while singing his heart out at karaoke, his notorious Chewbacca call, every single trip to the dells when he'd toss Grandma Pat over his shoulder like she was a bag of chips yelling "I'm G-ma's number one dolly!" and his undeniable love for his daughter that could be felt even through a photograph.
Marshall was both a momma's boy and a man with a huge heart for others. He was incredibly caring, honest, and genuine. Marshall was also an organ donor and we are proud to say eight of his organs plus his eyes went to nine different recipients. Thomas, Kay, and Dustin were able to be alongside Marshall as he was given the powerful "Honor Walk" down the hall as hospital staff lined the walls at Froedtert Hospital. Tatum calls daddy a superhero.
Marshall would not have wanted a funeral. Instead, he would much rather have everybody prost him with the infamous PBR held high in the air, which we will all do when we hold his celebration of life (date to be determined).
Marshall is survived by his mother Kay, father Thomas, maternal grandma Pat, his brothers Dustin "Duddy" (Chandler), Christopher "Fer Fer" (Mandy), Timothy "TT" (Andrea), sister Rebecca (Mark) Taczala, nephew Thomas "Tommy or Little T", nieces Torianna, Lily, Maya, and Madelyn. Aunt Kim and Keri, Uncle Rob, Jake, and Todd. Cousins Cameron, Jacob, Nathan, Jessie, Marissa, and Justin. The mother of his child Kayla "Peaches", his daughter Tatum "Tater Tot or Poophead", his comrades at New Berlin Grading and many friends and family.
Although Marshall can no longer be with us physically, he would want us to remember his humor and to let us all know that he and his best friend, Nick Farrell, are going to keep given'r on the other side.
