April 11, 1949 – August 24, 2020

Nancy Jean O'Neill of Pewaukee passed peacefully and gracefully. At her side were her husband of 53 years, Robert M. O'Neill Sr., her life-long friend, Linda (Lehrke) Schumacher, and her beloved little dog, NJ. She passed in the early morning hours of August 24, 2020 after a rapid battle with Cholangio Carcinoma (bile duct cancer). This after battling Ductile Carcinoma (breast cancer) since the beginning of 2020.

She passed away at the home she shared with her husband and 2 sons, Robert M. Jr and Michael J. ONeill, since 1972.

Born in Adams, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Chester M. Edwards and Beverly J. (Ottosen) Edwards. She lived with her parents and family, half-siblings Robert, Willetta, and Frederick Dettmer and Caroline Edwards, sister Cheryl Edwards and Chester M. Edwards Jr, on a rural farm in Adams County, Wisconsin. At the age of six, her family moved to Pewaukee, Wisconsin.

Nancy then attended Pewaukee Elementary School and it's Middle School. She graduated from Pewaukee High School in 1967. She married her husband and classmate Bob in 1967. From sometime during the middle "70's until it closed, she worked for F. W. Woolworth's She startied as a clerk and worked up to the position of section manager. Finally promoted to Human Resource Personnel/Manager. At the close of Woolworth's she was hired by Bartz's the Party Store to be District Manager and to be the Manager of the South store. She retired from Bartz's the Party Store.

Nancy is survived by her husband, 2 sons, 3grandsons, Michael J. Jr., Samuel R. and Liam R. D. O'Neill all of Pewaukee. Her Sister Willeta (Arlin) Carpenter of Oconomowoc, WI Her brother Fred (Denise) Dettmer of Waterford, WI Her sister Cheryl Ann (Mark) Meinhardt of Sullivan Her brother Chester (Marcie) of Mukwonago, WI Many nieces, nephews, and numerous friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her half-sister Sandra Edwards, who died in infancy in Adams, her half-brother Robert (Kathy) Dettmer, both deceased of Floodwood, Minnesota, and her half-sister Caroline (Edwards) (husband Wayne) VanLare, both deceased of Lebanon, Wisconsin.

Due to "Covid 19", there will only be a funeral service for immediate family, per Nancy's wishes.

Any donations should be made to "Home Hospice Pro Health" the people who helped me so greatly for Nancy to have her wish of passing peacefully at home.
