Richard "Rick" Hanfler

In Loving Memory of Richard “Rick” Scott Hanfler passed away Friday May 23rd.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rick Hanfler on May 23, 2025. Rick was a beloved husband, father and friend whose warmth, kindness and steadfast spirit touched the lives of many.

Preceeded in death, his Father Albert Hanfler and mother Terry (Mortensen) Hanfler and brother Jonathon Ryan Hanfler.

Rick is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie (Evans) Hanfler and their loving children: daughter Samantha “Sami” Arteaga (Jaime) and sons Sean-Michael Evans, Quinn Jacobs (Beth), and Cole Jacobs-Hanfler. Special “sons” Brian and Tim Wick.

Brothers Rob Hanfler, Jeff (Nina) Hanfler. Sisters Linda (Robert) Zelinski, Sue Hanfler, Lisa (Scott) Nell.

Grandchildren: Alaina Artiaga, Taylorrae Evans, Ameila and Bentley Jacobs. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Mother-in-law: Joan Evans.

He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart and his unique ability to bring joy and laughter into any room. Also his never-ending love of fishing and catching that “Big Bass”.

Ricks memory will live on through the stories shared, the lessons passed down, and the enduring love of those who knew him best. Also his love for Childrens Hospital. His Annual Packer Childrens Hospital benefit will now also be in memory of Rick which will be held September 21st, 2025 at Okauchee Lions Park. Noon Game.

Visitation at Yonke Funeral Home in Pewaukee will be held on Saturday June 14th from 11-1. Short service at 1 and Celebration of Life at our home immediately after.

I want to send out a special thanks to the Hospice Team from Aurora especially Echo. Without her support and multiple other staff members I would’ve never made it.
