Robert ("Rob, Bob") George Ullrich Jr., of Pewaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 64.
Rob was born on August 8, 1961, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Robert and Mary (Kische) Ullrich. He attended Custer High School in Milwaukee, graduating class of 1979. He then went on to attend the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point, earning his bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Business and competing on the track and field team as a pole vaulter. He later earned his MBA from Ashland College in Ohio. While attending Ashland, he met Lori Williams, the love of his life. They married in 1989 and shared 37 wonderful years together.
After completing his education, Rob founded and operated his own property management company in Milwaukee, dedicating more than 30 years to serving his clients and community.
Rob had an undeniable love for his family and friends. He would drop everything to spend time with those he loved and selflessly help them through any challenge they faced. With his jack-of-all-trades skill set and willingness to lend a hand, he was someone people could always count on. Rob also had a gift for bringing humor to any situation, lightening the mood with his patented dad jokes and known for taking a joke too far. Throughout his life, Rob pursued intellectual growth, lifelong learning, and self-improvement. He stayed informed on current events, enjoyed thoughtful conversations, and cared deeply about the world around him.
Rob had a passion for sport and physical activity, especially running and cycling. From hiking in the mountains to skiing in the winters, he was always looking for ways to stay active with friends and family. He was always striving to be in better shape, constantly setting new goals for himself and embracing the challenge of pushing his physical abilities. Additionally, he was a youth baseball and basketball coach, Cub Scout leader, and pole vault coach for Oconomowoc High School – all activities that brought him closer to his children. Rob also had a lifelong love of fishing and the outdoors. Some of his happiest moments were spent on the water boating, casting a line, sharing stories, and enjoying the simple beauty of nature.
Family was everything to Rob, and he always prioritized time spent together. Rob is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lori; his mother, Mary; his children, Jacob (Amy) Ullrich, Sidney Ullrich (fiancé Thomas Walkinshaw), and William Ullrich; and his cherished granddaughter, Eliza. In addition to immediate family, he is survived by his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Ullrich Sr.
Rob will be remembered for his unwavering generosity, ridiculous humor, strong faith, and his lifelong commitment to growing, learning, and becoming a better man each day. Most of all, he will be remembered for the incredible love he showed to his family and friends every day.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday June 5, 2026, starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Fowler Lake Park Pavilion in Oconomowoc Wisconsin. There will be food for grazing and some seating, but please bring your own drinks and additional chairs. Guests are encouraged to honor Rob by channeling his spirit in their attire—goofy, warm, casual, and entirely themselves.
