Robert Louis Vilar

Robert Louis Vilar (a.k.a. Papa) was born on November 12, 1929 and was reunited with his beloved wife Nancy (a.k.a. Nana), oldest son Robin, brother Harold, and sister Ruth Weiss on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the age of 91.
Robert was a resident of Pewaukee, Wisconsin.
He graduated from West Division High School where he met the love of his life. He later graduated college from UW Milwaukee.
He is survived by his Sisters Natalie Hart and Betsy Yuhas (Gary), his children Mitch Vilar (Paula) and Laura Vilar (Carol Busche), his grandchildren Brittany Sanderson (Tyler), Dana Vilar (Mike Knowles), Justin Vilar, and Gina Vilar, and his great grandchildren Cody Sanderson, Will Sanderson, Piper Sanderson, Ryder Sanderson, and Sadie Sanderson along with many nieces, nephews and their families and his dog Levi.
Everyone loved Papa and he was a friend to everyone he met. He was known for his love of tennis, football, and sports in general. He was also known for his love of painting and the art gallery that was his condo.
We would like to say a special thank you to the Preceptor Hospice nurses, social workers and aides.
There will be a private ceremony with immediate family.
