Rosemary M. Carpenter
Of Pewaukee. Born on July 5, 1930 to Viola and Howard Larson in Portage, Wisconsin. She went to school in Portage before moving to Pewaukee and graduating from Pewaukee High School. Rosemary married Stacy Carpenter on October 8, 1949 and had two sons, Jeff and Ken. She worked at Pewaukee Product Miniature and retiring from Dickten and Masch in Nashotah. After retirement she became a crossing guard in the Village of Pewaukee for over 20 years. She retired from her second career as a crossing guard on her 90th birthday. She loved helping the children get across the street safely and they showed their love by all of the notes and gifts she received from them. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always willing to babysit or take them to McDonald's. Rosemary had a passion for collecting hummingbird decorations, loved to cook and go shopping, especially rummage sales. Her husband Stacy, brothers Wilbur and Clarence and brother-in-law John Kramer. preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons Jeff and Ken (Jacki), grandchildren Victoria (John) Metko, Stephanie (Justin) Hooyman, and great grandchildren Morgan, Austin, Jacob, Carson, and Rayna, brothers Russell (Mary) Schrubbe and Ronald (Millie) Schrubbe, sister Betty Kramer and sister-in-law Barbara Schrubbe. Also survived by many friends and great neighbors.
