Steven, a longtime resident of Pewaukee, was born to eternal life Friday, September 24, 2021, at the age of 69. Loving husband of Susan (Kretlow) Pennoyer. Father of Damon and Troy Pennoyer. Proud Grandfather of Riley and Jackson Pennoyer. Stepfather to Kenneth (Heli) Wolfgram, Tracy Wolfgram and Tammy (Maria) Morales. Brother to William (Kathleen) Pennoyer, Nancy (Patrick) Babe, Paul (Justine) Pennoyer and Renee Baye. Steve was preceded in death by his parents Irene and Fred, brother Dennis and Mother and Father-In-Law Marjorie and William Kretlow. Steve is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren, great step grandchildren and friends.
Steve lived a full life, highlighted by his love of family, friends and the outdoors--a fondness which extended even to his work as a cement mason for 35 years. Steve was a loyal fan of both the Packers and Brewers, and had a passion for Nascar, having even participated in stock car racing in Slinger, WI in his youth. In his early years he also had a love of music, performing as the drummer in a local band known as The Ranchers. He was a talented former league bowler, once bowling a perfect game, and a dedicated softball enthusiast, taking part in organized competitions for many years. After retirement, his love of sports extended to attending his beloved grandson's baseball games all over the state. Steve was a talented craftsman and woodworker, creating small projects for himself and his family. Anyone who knew Steve will truly miss him.
