William Ryan McCormick

William R. McCormick was the son of William and Elaine McCormick.

Bill grew up in Pewaukee, alongside his brothers, Dan and Jim, and his
sister, Judy.

He graduated from Pewaukee High School in 1969, where he participated in
football and wrestling. Bill went to UW-Oshkosh graduating in 1974.

He operated a successful painting business for many years in the area, and was
seldom seen without his signature painter's hat! He was also a master carpenter. There was no house project that he did not know how to complete and his experience will be missed. He remodeled his whole home from plumbing, electrical, carpentry, roofing and painting. He was truly one of the most skilled workers there ever has been.

Bill enjoyed anything involving nature- hunting, fishing, and camping, and more recently developed an interest in beekeeping. He loved taking care of the nature and wildlife around him and his home. He worked hard to make sure the neighborhood squirrels, birds, ducks and bunnies were well fed- and homed, he even designed and made several squirrel homes for the backyard.

Bill was known for being able to talk to absolutely anyone. No one will be able to forget a true Bill story that always made you wonder how one person could see and experience so many wild situations. In addition to his stories, he was a wealth of knowledge far beyond the average individual and was able to help people in many ways because of it. He truly never stopped learning.

He is survived by his wife Carol, and children William, Jackson and Carly who will truly miss him.
